Exhibition & Events

A photography exhibition or launch of a book of Australian outback photos is a rare opportunity for people who are specifically interested in the bush, art, books, 'Australiana' and/or agriculture to gather together. If you hear of an approaching exhibition opening or an event such as a book launch, please come, because you'll be sure to enjoy yourself talking with the other like-minded people who attend.  There's also a good chance you'll bump into people you already know, too.  Many people who have attended these events mention them to me years later, saying how much they enjoyed themselves.

And we all know how frustrating it is to miss attending an event simply because we didn't realise it was on It would be very much appreciated if you could let others know when events are on by sharing the news with your networks - particularly anyone you know who may be especially interested. Thank you in advance!

As photography exhibitions are exceedingly time consuming and expensive to hold, it is not usual for me to organise more than one in the same region let alone the same city or town, so it is best to seize the opportunity to visit an exhibition in your local area when it is on. Don't wait for a second one, because it's very unlikely to happen.  The same applies regarding attending tradefairs. The only tradefair I am able to make a specific effort to attend regularly, is Rockhampton's Beef Australia event, which is held every 3 years.
